About Us

About FintechMarker

FintechMarker is an independent digital magazine about how modern payments, banking systems and financial infrastructure actually work. We look at how money moves through today’s rails – card schemes, wallets, UPI, real-time payments, account-to-account systems – and explain the mechanics behind them in clear, human language.

For us, fintech is never just “finance”. It is also the technology underneath: APIs, switching layers, risk engines, KYC stacks, settlement flows, scheme rules and compliance frameworks. That’s why we write about both products and the infrastructure behind them – always with the goal of making complex topics understandable without dumbing them down.

What we do

We publish:

  • Explain-it-like-a-human articles that break down how specific systems, products or regulations work in practice.
  • Deep dives into payment rails, digital banking setups, card and wallet economics, and regional ecosystems.
  • Context pieces that connect technical details with market structure, regulation and user experience.
  • Occasional opinion pieces, when a clear stance helps to navigate hype, fear or buzzwords.

Some texts are calm, step-by-step explainers for non-experts. Others go deeper into architecture and market mechanics for people who build, operate or regulate these systems.

How we write

We try to keep a simple set of principles:

  • Plain language first. No jargon where a normal word works. If a technical term is essential, we explain it.
  • Systems, not headlines. We care more about what infrastructure actually does than about PR language around it.
  • Global view. We look at India, Europe, Africa and beyond, because many of the most interesting ideas do not start in one market only.
  • Evidence over vibes. We rely on public filings, regulatory texts, scheme documentation, technical papers, company briefings and real-world behavior – not on press releases alone.

We do not publish get-rich-quick content, trading tips or “sure-win” strategies. FintechMarker is about understanding systems, not about promising outcomes.

Independence & transparency

FintechMarker is run by a small editorial team. We are independent: when we cover companies, products or ecosystems, we aim to describe how they work, where they fit, and which trade-offs they involve.

If we ever use affiliate links or paid partnerships, they will be clearly labeled. Any commercial relationship does not change our description of how a system actually behaves.

Nothing on FintechMarker is investment, legal or tax advice. We encourage readers to treat our work as context and explanation, not as a substitute for professional advice.

Why FintechMarker exists

Financial technology is shaping everyday life – from tiny card authorizations to cross-border payouts and instant salary access. Yet most people only see the app surface, not the rails underneath.

FintechMarker exists for readers who want to understand that invisible layer: product people, engineers, operators, regulators – and curious outsiders who simply want to know what really happens when they tap, send or settle.

If that sounds like you, we’re glad you’re here.
